Since 2019

PhD candidate in Ecology. UNAM. Posgrado en Ciencias Biológicas, Faculty of Sciences.

PhD  thesis: "Spatial and temporal variation of the Oribatid (Acari: Oribatei) mite communities in the tropical rain forest of Los Tuxtlas, Veracruz, Mexico".

2013-2015

Master's degree. UNAM. Posgrado en Ciencias Biológicas, Faculty of Sciences.

Master's thesis: "Morphological and mollecular delimitation of Galumnidae

(Acari: Oribatei) mites from central Mexico”.

2007-2012

Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (UNAM). Faculty of Sciences. Diploma topic:"Taxonomy of Galumnoidea (Acari: Oribatei) mites".

 Research interests

I am interested in the morphological and mollecular taxonomy and species delimitation of oribatid mites, also in the  ecology of their communities in different vertical strata and microhabitats.

Research domains:

Acarology

Taxonomy and systematics
